The new Saka brand has been born.
The master brewer brews the entire Saka series in small batches so that he doesn't miss even the slightest movement of the yeast or moromi. Furthermore, by only pasteurizing the sake once when bottling, it has a fresh flavor and a mellow taste.

Genroku 1 (1688) Koga Rokuemon (first generation) established a sake brewery in the area under the name “Kankiku”.
Ansei 7 The name was changed to “Mado no Ume” at the behest of the feudal lord at the time, Nabeshima Naomasa.
11/22, 1918 The 10th generation, Bunichiro Koga, incorporated the company and established “Mado no Ume Shuzo Co.
5/26, 1940 The president, Bunichiro Koga, resigned and became an advisor, and the 11th generation, Koichiro Koga, became the new president.
1951 The capital was increased to 1.5 million yen.
3/11, 1958 Kouichiro Koga becomes the 12th president.
1971 The capital is increased to 35 million yen.
12/1, 1993 Kouichiro Koga becomes chairman. Kouji Koga becomes the 13th president.
10/1, 2021 Joji Koga becomes an advisor. Mitsuhiro Rikihisa becomes the 14th president.
3/1, 2022 Satomi Kinoshita becomes the 15th president.
11/1, 2022 Company name changed to Saga Shuzo Co., Ltd.
